Awesome Weekends!

I promised my nieces, Nana & Syahirah that I’ll post an entry on our recent rendezvous at Rebung. And that was like.......2 weekends ago!

The reason for this family gathering is to welcome Nana and Haziq back from Moscow and Liverpool, respectively. Since, both of them were heavily salivating for some local fares (after ONLY a year abroad), Rebung is deemed appropriate for them to... well..... eat to their hearts content.

The outings were actually done over 2 consecutive weekend coz’ Haziq’s flight was delayed by 5 hours, thus, prompted us to proceed without him, Kak Ngah & Abg Wan.

The first night was filled with endless chatters and bitching marathon about anything and everything under the sun. Well, that’s what happened when you roped in 4 ‘mulut tak ada insuran’ girls together (well, that’s you Nana, Syahirah, Uji and who-else-the-but-international-acclaimed dotdotdot - moi, of course!)

Kak Teh brought along Syahirah’s wedding invitation card, and OMG! It’s simply stunning and I feel like having another round of wedding reception for myself ;P..... minus the headaches, of course!

Nana was complaining about her pimples and I suppose that’s one of the many demerits of being a ‘medic’ student, apart from its tough subjects to pass and GOD-knows-how-long-it-takes-to-complete-the course pressure. Other than that, she’s doing fine and as I’m writing this she’s on her way to Perhentian.

My other nephew, Alishah aka ‘si gomoks’ as usual made endless trips to the buffet counter..... heheeee..... while, my other 2 younger nephew and niece, Qasha & Yaya surely made themselves at home by holding on to the mic. and belted out some out of tune lovely songs.

The second outing was equally fun too coz’ I still gotta eat peacefully. Thanks to DH, Haziq, Jay-Anne jiejie and Yaya jiejie who took turn to keep Areya entertained. Lol

Plus, another round of gossiping with my elder sisters!


SO, who foot the bill?

Not me, for sure! Hahahaaa....... This is one of the many advantages being a SAHM and second youngest in the family. You’re always among the first to be invited to any ‘makan-makan’ but the last to be asked to pay the bill. Awesome, no?

Again, thank you Kak Long for the lovely dinners (yeah! I gotta go to both dinners.... lucky me!). Next round is on me...ehem...ehem..ehem... I mean, my husband laa.....
